Throwback Thursday – The Way of the Black Beast only $.99!

Malja 1 resizedThe latest installment of The Malja Chronicles, Book 5 of my post-apocalyptic Fantasy series is off to a good start. Writing The Way of the Power is drawing me right back into the thick of things. I got to write Malja’s first fight scene in the book and that always sucks me right back into her crazy post-apocalyptic head as she now travels across parallel universes. Am having lots of fun writing Malja’s story again and I just can’t keep it all to myself. If you haven’t read any of the series yet, now’s the perfect time to get involved in the action-packed world of Malja and her friends. I really believe that you are missing out.

When I originally began writing about Malja in 2010, I had no clue that I’d be working on the fifth novel in the Fantasy series four years later. Book 1, The Way of the Black Beast, is the one that started it all. In a world where magic caused the apocalypse, Malja struggles to survive against crazed magicians, mutated beasts, and guitar-playing assassins. She seeks to understand why she was stolen as a baby, trained only to fight, and discarded at ten-years-old — all at the hands of the two most powerful magicians. But her quest for answers fights with her desire for vengeance — a battle within that may destroy all she holds dear. Starting today, on Throwback Thursday, you can pick up the first of The Malja Chronicles for pennies!

What Readers Are Saying About Malja:

Malja is a girl just trying to survive in a dangerous world that has been decimated by magic, and where violence is a necessary evil. Throughout her journey she keeps two things close to her: Viper, a straight edge, deadly extension of herself used to destroy anything that might bring harm, and Tommy, the adolescent youth/ magician who attached himself to her side after she saved him from his abusers.

And…. Stuart Jaffe did it again! From the opening sentences, his writing has a way of drawing you – the reader – in and making you thirst for more and more. ” The Way of the Black Beast” is another example of excellent science fiction genre and I laud Jaffe for his passion and his way of making it all seem so….normal!
