Some days make up for all the stress

Winter was horrible (and not just because it rained on my birthday cruise) and this spring wasn't much better. Going the self-pubbing route was a real adventure.

Yesterday and today, though, are doing a damned fine job making up for it. Yesterday I signed the contract for They Come By Night, which is the title I came up with for my "gay vampire story." I've been working on the book since '09, and finally finished it in February. It should be released in Jan/Feb 2015. So that's "yay!" #1.

Then, this morning when I went online, I found an email from my local newspaper. Back in February, I brought a copy of Where the Heart Chooses to the Naples Daily News in hopes they might review it. When I didn't hear from them, I figured it was a no go, but they're going to do an article about local writers, and that includes me! And this is "yay!" #2. :-D
