#BreakTime #BookBash14

Before I get to my BookBashiness I've got a little announcement to make. As you already know I said I'd be taking some time before Id be publishing Rachel.  There's a good reason. There comes a point when you have to just step away from everything and reevaluate the situation. Without boring you with details and semantics that is what I'll be doing. The whole series is on hold. Most of you don't know this but I wrote Finding Nathan under a tremendous amount of pressure and in very little time. I mean VERY little time. There are a lot of things I'm not happy with and I need to pull them (again) in order to make things right. Finding Jordie and Finding Nathan will still be available to purchase online and from me until September 20th, then they'll be gone again for a short time.
I will be writing a new series in the meantime while I get  my ducks in a row with FJ, FN & FR. New covers and all. 
A word of advice. ALWAYS listen to people who have been down the path you're about to take. They know, they've been there. If I had I wouldn't be going through this. Its a long, expensive process.  Between a bad review, rude, shady people and watching everyone around you thrive while you sit and ask yourself "Where the fuck did I go wrong?" it starts to eat at you. HARD. Because no matter how many 5 star reviews you have...it hurts to see  something you put every bit of your hard work, money and heart into sit there at 600k because nobody has hit the buy button in weeks. When you sell 13 copies in three months and see that you're still in the hole...it breaks you. It breaks you hard. So. I need to back off. I never got into this for money...just to give people something they'd love to lose themselves in. A year and two books later I know when to back off. And right now I have to. I'll still blog of course! Its like my diary, lol, nobody but my friend Jessica reads it, most of the time...and that's okay. I'm okay with all of it. I'm just not okay with the choices I've made or allowed to be made for me. You guys deserve better. 
On a lighter note, I'll be heading out in the AM to attend BookBash14 in Orlando, FL. First road trip in the new car!  Woo hoo. Can't wait. I'll be handing out cool swag. I have these micro fiber cloths made for cleaning glasses, phones, tablets, and electronic stuffs. They're nice. I like em'. Also some cards and magnets. I spent a ton of money on that swag...I have to give it to someone. LOL

Alright, time to pack! I'm a crasty one.
