What Makes You REALLY a Writer?

Are you REALLY a writer?

I realized recently that, while I hear a lot of peopletalking about writing, but that doesn’t always make them “a writer” in my mind. One thing that will nab them the title, to me, is when they talk knowingly aboutrejection.

Dealing with rejection as a writer means you’re trying. You’re working. You’re getting something on the page and sharing it – you can’t be rejected without putting in the effort.
