This experiment has me seriously contemplating my views on this and honestly, I seem to fall at both ends.

On one hand, this experiment is run by a gum company, sooooo it seems likely that they want chewing gum to seem favorable. Have to take everything with a grain of salt these days sadly.

On the other hand, I hate gum chewing and my husband knows its not allowed in our house. I still buy him gum and he chooses it when he is out at work (he is a police officer haha- matches with the video!).

To me, gum chewing sounds and looks revolting and I want no part of it… but it definitely does make for a more approachable expression and stance. The person seems more at ease, more fluid, more accessible and flexible.

To chew or not to chew, that is the question. :P
