Kyoko M. Agreed with everything you've said here. I am seriously impressed with how the quality of the Dresden Files hasn't dipped, especially after the absolute GUT PUNCH that was Changes. I actually like the series more and more with each book, because while Storm Front got me hooked, it's the fantastic elements of Harry playing in the dirt with supernatural nasties and not being a PI that made me love the series. Everyone and their mother writes about supernatural investigators, so I love that Harry's moved past that and is now a protector with a monster's leash around his neck. And it helps that he is a snarky bad ass with a heart of gold. Five stars is right.
