What's Right (Yet Unpopular)?

It's almost a year since I've been completely debt free.  My girlfriend has a few more months.

I have to say things are much easier now (for both my business and personal life). The reason is, I'm not enslaved to any major corporation just because I have bills to pay.  I'm also not scared to speak my mind to someone because somewhere in the back of my mind I have this deep rooted fear of losing my job.
