Watching the VMAs instead of being there...

During my time at MTV, there were several years I worked on the VMAs. I'd spend the weeks leading up to it with a really fun crew, writing jokes for the hosts or presenters to say. Then I'd spend that night wearing a headset, running around like a chicken with my head cut off, wondering if someone would get into a fight, someone would have a "wardrobe malfunction" or if DMX would even show up. (Sidenote: he was a no show TWICE)

Granted, it's been a few years and the channel has changed...
