Send to KindleExpectations shape how people act.
If you've ever been disappointed because someone didn't meet your expectations, remember that you've created a story about what SHOULD happen, when it should happen, what they should say or do, etc. It's your head story, nothing more.
When someone doesn't live up to your story, it doesn't mean they don't care. It simply means they didn't meet your criteria that you had in your head.
