YALC Programme and Edinburgh Fest! Authors Live clips, too.
Two big new programs (that I'm on) were announced this week! The first ever YA Literary Convention (as part of London Film & Comic Con) and the Edinburgh Festival.
First up is YALC, on 12-13 July. I'm there on the 12th with two panels, one about dystopias with Malorie Blackman and another about Doctor Who with loads of people. Come along, the schedule's amazing.
Then I'm at the Edinburgh Festival! I'm doing a book event on the morning of Saturday, 16 August (so do come to that), and then in the evening I'm doing the first annual Siobhan Dowd Trust Memorial Lecture. Which will be cool.
Don't forget, too, that I'm in Norwich at the end of June, too. I'm doing the City of Stories Event as part of the FLY Festival in Norwich. Slightly confusingly, there are two separate allocations of tickets. There are a few left from the Festival itself (try them first here), and then there are a bunch for different seats available from Norwich Playhouse here. Try both to get the best seat.
The next day, 25 June, I'm with the Norfolk Children's Book Centre, doing a schools event at 1.30, then an evening event open for anybody at 7pm, in Aylsham. Their website is here, but email Marilyn Brocklehurst for details.
Finally, I did a fantastic Authors Live event yesterday for BBC Scotland and Scottish Booktrust, and the first clips are up here.
