"Don’t believe them when they say it only gets worse, it does gets easier, you just have to hold on...."

Don’t believe them when they say it only gets worse, it does gets easier, you just have to hold on. The longer you let things reside inside of you, holding on to the anger that someone else created for you, the longer you will live with sorrow and remorse.

Don’t believe them when they say that revenge is the sweetest form of karma. Getting even doesn’t always end in closure, and I can assure you that you will feel like a better person if you just let it go and let time do what it does best; leveling out the playing ground. Their words and their actions may hurt you now, but as you rip out the former months in your calendar, the pain they placed inside of you will transfer over to them.

Don’t confuse love with heartache. Although you’ve heard that both go hand in hand, that’s not the truth. If someone hurts you and tells you it was out of love, don’t believe their words that are soaked in deceit. Love does not hurt. Or at least it doesn’t hurt in the way that feels as if your heart is caving in. So if someone tells you that they have hurt you because their love for you is too strong to tame, don’t believe them. And if you can, leave. Because from the first moment they tell you that pain and love are almost identical, that’s when you’ll know that you are looking into the face of a professional manipulator.
