In my opinion, there's nothing better than slowing down enough to appreciate the passage of time, and yesterday I did just that. It's sad that our days get away from us. I don't want to wake up one morning and realize that significant parts of it have already passed by without me noticing. Here's what I saw through my lens:
Mother and baby ducks napping along the river outside my home.
Lilies starting to bloom.
My granddaughter growing like a weed.
Take a few moments today to smell the lilacs, to watch children playing, to be grateful for the beauty surrounding you. You won't regret it.
