Friday Five-- the picture edition
1. Do you see this picture:
When my publisher was working on the cover for YOU WISH (now in stores *cough cough*) they asked if I had any ideas/input. I searched out stock photo sites for hours, in vain, when I stumbled upon this picture. And went, BINGO! I loved that the smoke made me think something major had just happened. I sent it to my editor. She, no joke, emailed me back all OMG! I just sent that EXACT picture to the art department!
They didn't use the stock photo, obviously, but yo...
