We are taking a bit of a breather for a few days after dealing with a few problems last week that caused us to get behind on our writing.  Never fear though, we are currently camping at the beach for the next few days, and plan on working hard to get caught up in Ivormantis.  We are hoping this book is ready to be turned in for edits around June 20.

Our featured author this week is Gracie Meadows.   Gracie, thanks for agreeing to stop by and speak with us today. So, how long have you been writing?

I have been a published author a year in August.  But I use to write poems and song when I was little.

What drove you to writing?

To write a book, it was actually a dare.  A friend of mine was turned off by an erotic book that left a lot out.  So when she dared me to write something better, I did.

What do you feel the most comfortable writing?  

I like to write a little bit of everything.  Because I read shifters, vampires, cowboys, and other books, I do write everything.  I like to push myself outside my comfort zone.

Who’s your favorite author?

I don’t really have one.  I enjoy so many authors.

What are the best times for you to write?

Afternoon and late evening are best for me.  Normally that is nap time or bed time for the kiddos.

When you are not writing, what do you enjoy doing?

I love reading and baking.  I spend a lot of time doing that and laundry, ugh, laundry.

This is book two of Heels for Hire, Inc.Series
 
Jess Cooper, Smokey Eyes, has been known for her hardened exterior and odd fascination for weaponry. An unknown threat threatens to put one of them away for murder, leaving the others to put their life and their job on the line to save them. Can they avoid jail time and find the real killer, or will they have their eyes on the wrong target?:
