Loved your recent article at Paper Magazine. I was wondering, how did you get your gig there?

Thank you! It’s not really an exciting story or anything — I was a web editorial intern there first. I just left Paper for another job but I plan on continuing to freelance for them. It really does pay off eventually to take unpaid work (if you can afford to) when you’re first starting out.
