July Books: Magic and Maps

I had to go back and re-read Kathleen Duey's Skin Hunger because it had been so long since I'd read it, and I have to say, it was just an absorbing a ride the second time through, and led me gleefully and greedily right into the second volume of her Resurrection of Magic trilogy: Sacred Scars. Of course, NOW I'm fiending for the third book so I can follow Sadima's and Hahp's stories to their conclusion--and convergence.
