Happy Dance!

 A *starred review* from Booklist !

I've had to keep this under my hat for two weeks, but I am over-the-top THRILLED!! Here's a smidge of what the review said:

"Pearson offers readers a wonderfully full-bodied story: harrowing, romantic, and full of myth and memory, fate and hope. She never compromises her characters— especially the multi-faceted Lia—for plot; each element motivates the other. . .  This has the sweep of an epic tale, told with some twists; it’s a book that almost doesn’t need a sequel, but readers will be thrilled if it continues on."

And I was sitting in the carwash yesterday when I got the tweet below on Twitter from Ilene Cooper the editor of Booklist, and I shamelessly admit I let out a huge squeeeeee!  Or maybe it was a woohoo. Whatever it was, it was happiness.
