Who’s Reading “Providence Rag” Now? It’s the Great Lawrence Block

Lawrence Block is one of the finest crime novelists of our time, and I’m fortunate to call him my friend. I snapped this photo of him yesterday at Book ExpoAmerica (BEA) in Manhattan.

In a career spanning half a century, Larry has written more than 100 novels including series featuring private eye Matthew Scudder, insomniac Evan Tanner, burglar Bernie Rhodenbarr,  and an assassin known as Keller. You can learn more about him and his work here.

Providence Rag is the third novel in my Edgar Award-winning series featuring Liam Mulligan, an investigative reporter at a dying Providence, R.I., newspaper.
