Jason McIntyre As usual, Vin, nice tips. It's really all about the energy isn't? There's a certain degree of knowing where to market and which platforms to use, but it's about consistency and taking action every day on whichever platforms you're using. I hear a lot of complaints that using the web to market your creative work is really hard because there are so many channels (Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, etc.) but, in truth, the web is a great tool to connect people to your work. And there's a level of permanence to it. A potential reader who is exposed to your name or the name of your work in multiple channels is more likely to recall it or click on it than someone who only sees a poster at a book store or hears a reading at a library a single time. Though, of course, those things can work in tandem.

Like investing your money, you want to have your eggs in as many baskets as possible to spread yourself across a constantly shifting market. The web is a good, broad place to do much of that.

Cheers!

Jeff Kinsey Good stuff. Especially like the part of calling him out on the BS he is feeding himself.

Jason McIntyre Hey Jeff -- not sure what you're gettin' at here. You can say I'm full of it if you like but my comments weren't meant to imply Zandri is. If anything, I've been using some of his tips and finding success with them.

Have a great day!

Jeff Kinsey Hey Jason, this tool is imprecise (at best). I was agreeing with you and your review of Vin's post... and adding the comment that Vin rightfully points out the part where he states:

>> 3. You don't have time to blog right? BS...

You make time for the important things.

Sorry to blip your blood pressure. That was NOT my intent. Honest.

Jason McIntyre Oh, heavens, Jeff. My blood pressure didn't rise above my resting rate. (I'm a stone cold serial killer -- haven't you seen my profile pic? :)

I was just asking because I wasn't clear on what you meant. It's been a few days (or a week) since I read the post which he mentions the B.S. line (I've been reading a LOT) and simply forgot it.

'S all cool! Nice also that you are following my reviews. I'll friend ya here in a minute...

Cheers!
