Cool Tools

Ever think of using Bias tape as ribbon in your designs? I found a great shop on Etsy recently that carries the most gorgeous Liberty of London bias tape in many floral patterns. I haven't ordered any yet because of my spending freeze (saving for Bead & Button) but I hope to soon! They also carry fabric too, that could be cut into ribbons if you fancy that rustic look.

The shop is called  Fabrique Romantique and they are based out of Amsterdam, Netherlands. I love the photography though which is why I am featuring this shop over the others that carry the tape on Etsy. There are a few. :)

Bias tape is a folded piece of material used to bind seam edges for a nice finished look.  It's folded width is 10mm, unfolded is 40mm.

I love the Liberty of London floral patterns, so fresh and classic.

If you try it let me know, I'd love to see how it turns out and of course I will blog mine when I finally order some and use it.
