KARE: Franken, Klobuchar welcome VA wait time review

Minnesota’s U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken said they welcome a review of wait times at Minnesota’s Veterans Administration hospitals and community based outpatient clinics, or CBOCs.

So far there’s no evidence to suggest the VA medical centers in Minnesota are plagued by the same wait time problems alleged to have occurred at the Carl Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, according to both Senators.

“Sen. Franken and I just sent a letter, after talking to the heads of our VA systems,” Klobuchar told KARE Monday.
