The 'Loving Me' Project

On May 19th I posted the following on Facebook ~

Dear friend,

You are beautiful! You are awesome! You have talent! You have heart! I know these things about you.

But I know sometimes you also doubt yourselves. When someone compliments you, you might have a hard time accepting it. I understand this. I’m the same way. I doubt myself so often it’s a wonder anyone believes in me. But people do. And I need to believe in myself. Just as you dotoo.

One hour, that’s all I'm asking – accept yourself! One hour a day. In the comments, tell me one thing you love about yourself! I don't care if it’s physical, mental, or emotional! Just tell me something about you that is awesome!

I’ll start! I love my determination! Nothing is going to stop me from going after what I want!

I decided to make this a daily thing at 11am every single day. At first the results were slow, hardly any comments. But the more I posted it, the better response it got. And more so than that? I started finding more and more things I liked about myself!

Monday - Day One: My determination. Tuesday - Day Two: My ability to feel other's pain. Wednesday - Day Three: My enthusiasm over the simplest of things. Sometimes its the little things that make a long lasting impact!Thursday - Day Four: I love that I can make people smile even when they're crying! Friday - Day Five: I love my ability to dream for the impossible and know that somehow, someday, it will happen! Dreams DO come true! Saturday - Day Six: I love my voice! I love just singing my heart out! (But not in front of anyone! :p )So tell me, what is something you love about yourself? Feel free to join my Facebook page HERE and participate in the daily posts! <3
