Quarterly update time
Okay, so I'm not that bad. I think I update at least twice per quarter, right? ;) Every now and then, I start to miss you guys on the same day my baby takes a long nap and...drum roll...here we are!
Some of you might know, I was part of the infamous BEND Anthology - the erotica anthology put out by The Erotica Consortium. It was only live for four days, but thanks to tons of fan support, it made the USA Today Bestseller list anyway. Which was awesome. VERY awesome. If you bought BEND, thank you!
My story in BEND was Red & Wolfe, an erotic, contemporary telling of Little Red Riding Hood. After BEND was removed from Amazon, I put it out here. I put out the second part of Red & Wolfe's story this week. It's definitely the most erotic thing I've written, and people seem to love it! :) I'm enjoying writing it, too, which is always a bonus.
Red & Wolfe Part Three, the final part of their story, will be out Monday, June 16. There probably will not be a pre-order, so if you want to read it, tie a string around your finger. ;) And add it to Goodreads. It should be there soon.
I've been trying to Tweet more. It's been going okay. If you follow me, you know I'm obsessed with Voodoo Doughnuts lately, and I developed a phobia of bears that was quickly cured by buying bear spray and contemplating the purchase of a revolver. If you don't follow me, do! I'm author_ellaj.
I'm still working on a super-secret project with my agent, and as of a few days ago, I'm working on a second super-secret project. One is NA, the other YA. I'm over the moon about them both, and I can promise you you'll get to read them at some point.
In the next few weeks I'll be doing my super-secret stuff; finishing Red & Wolfe's story; planning my next erotic fairy tale (it's going to be called Beast; I can't wait to share the blurb with you - it's INTENSE {and oh my goodness, definitely no animals involved!}); working on the last Love Inc. story, Something Blue (which I'm putting up for pre-order soon); packing to move to a rural mountain house; and going to two book events. One is UtopYAcon, in Nashville the weekend of June 20-22. There, I'm moderating a panel about writing with a partner and speaking on a panel about pricing and another about...something else. The other fabulous book event is Book Bash, the very next weekend in Orlando. I'll be signing books at both events, so if you want to meet me, get a signed book, and/or purchase a limited edition of BEND, consider this your official invitation. After almost three years doing this, there are so many amazing readers I know well, and I'd totally love to see your faces!
