Back from RT and feeling drained

LOL. I’m an introvert, meaning I don’t like to be the center of attention. I’m also a empath, meaning I don’t like large crowds because I sensitive to the mixed emotions from others. I’m happier hiding out somewhere. however, as a writer I HAVE to step outside my comfort zone and be social.

Don’t get me wrong, I love meeting new people and hanging out with readers. I’ve been to 4 conferences so far this year and have 2 to go. My experience has been nothing but positive with each conference and I’m finding it easier to step out of my bubble and actually become a little more outgoing. My first 2 were back to back in February and boy was I exhausted! lol.

For me RT was like February all over again. It was huge with some many people and a lot of great things to do both within the conference and in NOLA. I had a blast! I met some of my author Facebook friends as well as a few new readers and authors. Plus I got to do some sightseeing.  I get to do it all over again in less than 4 weeks in Denver at RomCon! I hope to see you there.
