Welcome to the 8th day of the government shutdown. (Should it be 10 by counting the weekend?) It’s also my birthday. What a way to see 41, watching our government fail. Among all the impacts felt by the shutdown, denying the families of 5 dead soldiers’ death and burial benefits is one of the most disgusting.
