I did one of those "self interviews" as pre-publicity for an upcoming reading, and one of those questions was:

For many, poetry is Wordsworth, Keats et al ... what is "poetry" in 2010?

I found this to be a sort of baffling question, and to tell the truth, I'm a bit suspicious of anyone who thinks poetry or any other art form is just one thing, or can be represented by one artist. My response, as honest as I could muster, was this:
