Why I wrote Poisionous Science
Having dealt for over thirty-five years with the increasingly competitive National Institutes of Health system for obtaining grants, I felt an urge to tell a story that would let non-scientists know how insane the situation has become. It’s a sometimes humorous mystery in which a proposal is untreated fairly and people all over the US start to die.
