Hades' Story
I am pleased to report that I have passed my halfway goal for 'Prelude to Darkness', Hades' story (title is subject to change, haha) and it is going along better than I expected. It is so much fun to explore Hades' past and figure out how he became the man he is in 'Seeds' as well as explore certain aspects of the Titanomachy.
The story is told almost exclusively from Hades' POV, with an occasional break to other characters. I've already written Ouranos' POV (each character other than Hades gets one chapter) and it was really interesting to write, given what happens to him in Seeds. I had to think of how he started out, and what happened between him and Gaea and his children. It's a interesting challenge to tell this story from a character format that is different than Seeds, yet I see its advantages.
I'm really pleased with what I have done so far (and I hope you will be pleased with the end product!!!) and hope to complete the story by this summer, and have it out in publication by the end of this year.
