Blind Rage: Team Red, Book 4 Release Day and Rafflecopter

Fifteen months ago, an accident left Teresa March scarred and completely blind. Having chosen David after a lively Siege to win her love, Teresa was stunned by his admission, and subsequent desertion, on Christmas Eve.

Bastian Declan, David’s business partner and Teresa’s childhood friend, has loved Teresa for years. He wastes no time seizing this new opportunity to finally win her heart.

While David is stuck in Boston hoping to resolve the conflict and restore his relationship with Teresa, PreClan’s top-secret surveillance system is at a critical stage. Tension is high, and the house is full of very capable guards, after another foiled attempt to steal the technology. Teresa, vacillating between hurt at David’s deception, and wonder at Bastian’s potential, doesn’t fully appreciate the danger.

Teresa’s service dog, Red, is smart, opinionated, handsome, and can talk. Well, at least to Teresa anyway. Understandably excited by all the activity, will his vigilance and unique bond with Teresa be enough to keep her safe?

BLIND RAGE picks up where Blind Faith (book three) left off. While Bastian patiently shows Teresa he can be the partner she needs, they both want closure regarding her relationship with David. Will Teresa choose to forgive David, or will she open herself up to the possibility of a more tumultuous love?

WELCOME TO TEAM RED!

Blind Rage will have you gasping in shock, sad with empathy, and Laughing-Out-Loud (literally- some readers caution you should not eat or drink while reading, or you will be spewing food/liquids when you get to the funny parts... err, which make up a large portions of the book). This version of the series is INTENDED FOR MATURE ADULTS OVER 18. Contains graphic sexual content, and swearing, which is unfortunate as the dog repeats everything.

EXCERPT 1:

During our meal, Janey entertained us with stories about Charles (call me Chaz) and Lil, Ken’s parents. The Westons welcomed the younger couple with hugs, food, and not-so-subtle hints that Ken, at almost twenty-five, wasn’t getting any younger. Between helpful suggestions that Ken shouldn’t let this beautiful woman get away, and more flagrant observations regarding how the two of them would make beautiful, blond, blue-eyed babies together, the parents let their son know Janey had their stamp of approval. My BFF was in stitches as she mimed her boyfriend’s panicked, deer-in-the-headlights stare when his mom mentioned raging hormones and the joys of pregnancy sex.

In the vehicle, en route to drinks at the Davenport Hotel, we hooted with laughter as Janey continued her story, telling us how Jeff, Ken’s younger brother, added his two-cents worth by lining up various items on his plate during dinner, to illustrate the various sizes of the much anticipated fetus during the first trimester. At one point, eyeing Janey’s trim waistline, he reminded his sibling (pointing at three peas in the gestational line-up), their mom was the oldest of a set of triplets. It took Ken almost five minutes to recover from the resulting coughing fit, possibly exacerbated due to Jeff’s energetic, helpful pounding on his brother’s back?

EXCERPT 2:

It was soon apparent Henry and Bas’ modest cooking skills would not be up to the task of feeding such a large group. The Army soldiers were self-contained, bringing their own food and shelter, but the addition of eighteen adults taxed our resources. Man cannot live on pizza take-out alone. Which is not to say they didn’t make a gallant effort.

Enter, Mrs. Russell Thomas: earth-mother, goddess, homemaker, sharpshooter, and eagle-eyed den mother. A dichotic combination of Tomb Raider and Mrs. Cleaver; kick-ass woman with a spatula or a handgun, her attitude hinting the spatula could be used for multiple purposes, from benign, to lethal, to… well, I hesitated to carry that thought any further. What goes on behind closed doors is none of my business.

Gwyn Thomas’ arrival last week heralded the beginning of an organizational whirlwind. My first glimpse of the fair Gwyneth, courtesy of mind-sight, positively floored me. She was the exact opposite of her homely, geek-like husband. An Amazon, standing a statuesque six foot tall, she towered over many of the men, including her husband. Her blond hair was sculpted into a classic upsweep, and she dressed in a casual 50’s Hollywood-starlet chic which emphasized her hourglass figure without appearing tasteless. If she had dark hair, I would have likened her to Sophia Loren, with similar dark eyes and a full-lipped smile. Gwyn was a beauty. She also possessed the sharp, methodical mind of a four-star general. Her directives were always couched as sweet requests, but no one ever doubted she expected compliance.
