Wardian Cases. 
Yeah, you really don’t want to know why I was researching them. ;) But, aren’t they cute? I think I prefer them to the more modern, terrariums. Very steampunk chic.
I’m thinking about incorporating one into one of my books just so that everyone has to Wiki them :D
