A significant chunk of South Africa is on strike. Teachers, nurses...petrol station attendants. Rather interesting to all those people in 48 US states (or is it 49 now?) and the whole of United Kingdom who already pump their own petrol - this idea that petrol station attendants are necessary. I rather like them. Never mind the weather, I'd feel like a sitting duck "mug me!" filling up my own car. But never mind - they are now on strike and want a pay raise a wee bit under 50%.
