Weekly Notes, May 12, 2014
Straight from the desk of Alice Brown & Lady V:
Good morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. It has been a busy week at the desks of both Lady V and myself. With the addition of over 10,000 words added to Fire & Ice, Dragons of Dragonose 2, this book is really starting to shape up. Currently sitting at about 3/4 done, we are still hoping to make the deadline of having it to the editor by the end of this week. Progress was also made on Ivormantis, Dragons of Dragonose 3. We are hoping to have this book out shortly after Fire & Ice.
Mr. Brown is taking us to the beach for a few days in the hopes that getting away from interruptions of everyday life will help us bring Fire & Ice in for the finish on time!
Here are a few snippets from the book. As in previous, nothing in this book has been edited yet, so please be kind. Changes may and probably will happen once beta reader and editor finish with it!

A Message from the Paws:
I get to take my first road trip this week! The humans are going to put me in a large vehicle, and we are all supposed to be doing something called "camping at the beach". I don't know what this entails yet, but it sure sounds fun. I am watching them get this large box on wheels they call a camper ready, including packing up some food and treats for me! Okay then, I'm game!
I am sure they will be taking pictures of me while we are on this trip, they don't seem to be able to control themselves. It's kind of cute, actually. I just stand still or sit and look all cute while they go to town clicking on their phone cameras. Well, I'm off to pack the sunscreen and beach towel! I'm sure I'll have lots to tell you next week!--Shadow
