California's "Box Cutter" Given Multiple Life Sentences



While not earning the title of serial killer as none of his attacks proved fatal, serial attacker Charles Juan Proctor learned of his fate in a California courtroom yesterday. And, I cannot imagine the penalty could have been much more severe if he had indeed murdered someone.

Proctor, who became known as "The Box Cutter," was sentenced to 433 years plus eleven life sentences on twenty-two charges including robbery, attempted murder, and mayhem. In 2008, Proctor went on a violent spree with a ...

Jennifer Chase I second that! I can't imagaine how frightening it must have been for those shop owners.

C.C. Cole Another issue with that kind of crime is that it KILLS BUSINESS. I was accosted by a man at 7:30am while pumping gas a couple of months ago, and though I got away, I'll never go back to that store or any of my family/friends that found out about it. If people don't feel safe, it doesn't matter what a business offers. Thank goodness nobody was killed and this guy's locked up.
