Terry Shames’s first Samuel Craddock mystery, A Killing at Cotton Hill, has been nominated for the Strand Magazine Critics Awards in the best first novel category. The second, The Last Death of Jack Harbin, is on sale, and the third, Dead Broke in Jarrett Creek, will be published in the fall.
