Say Hi to Little Tree

This is Little Tree.  Little Tree was a gift to our church at Christmas so that the children in the congregation would have their own tree to decorate.  It was a lovely idea and children loved it. However once Christmas was over, Little Tree needed a new home so she came to me.  As you can see there is plenty of room for her to grow.  My farm is very young with few mature trees.  The acreage was once home to hundreds of pines which have since been logged.  Little Tree is a welcome addition as I work to create the vision of the farm in my mind.  Maybe this year she will have a friend join her.

I just couldn’t resist adding this picture of Noelle as she tried to talk me into giving her just one more carrot.  Her two pasture mates are out of camera range on the other side of me.  Both are doing their best to open the bag of carrots. Donkeys are fun, smart and just plain tricky.
