Pretty and Gritty

On Friday, May 16, a musical event of cosmic proportions is descending upon our beloved hometown of Cabot, VT. The Pretty and Gritty tour features local favorites Mayfly along with the infamous (notorious? nefarious?) Canadian trio Sheesham, Lotus, and Son.  If you’re wondering who’s pretty and who’s gritty, just hit the links; believe me, you’ll have it all sussed out in no time.

The show itself is enough to miss several nights of sleep over in feverish anticipation. But wait! There’s more. Much more. That’s because the good fellas of S,L, n’ S have agreed to stick around for a Saturday morning on-farm hambone workshop. Dear people, there are only so many opportunities in your life to learn hambone from masters of the art and this is one of them. Hell, this might be the only one of them.  The suggested donation for this workshop is $10/person, though of course you are welcome and encouraged to give even more. All proceeds go to the artists, and the fee includes as much refreshing well water as you can drink. Because of space limitations, please let us know asap if you will be attending the workshop, at which point I will provide you with more details and directions.
