“What Ho!”- A Belated Conclusion to an Adventure.

So I was at C2E2 last weekend, walking around the main hall with a friend, nodding and occationally fist-bumping readers who recognised me. (Too much hand-shaking leads to contagion at a convention.)


Eventually my friend asked, “What’s this Acquisiations Incorporated video people keep talking about?”


“I did a D&D thing with the guys from Penny Arcade and PVP last year,” I said. “We played a game at PAX Prime on stage. They taped it and put it online.”


“Why didn’t you put it up on your blog?” she...

Michael I don't know if this applies to you, but it's an interesting TED Talk about how when people talk about their goals they are less likely to achieve them, as they get the same chemical feedback in the brain as if they already had been successful.

I think maybe very creative people don't even need to talk about something to trigger the same reaction.. that they visualize the final product so strongly that their motivation centers react as if they have actually reached the goal already.
