I'm thankful for a career I love and enjoy. There are so many moments in our days that bring smiles. Today is no different. This afternoon I taught the kiddos and my friend, a new song, "Tony Chestnut".
As we sang and did the moves, I thought of my friend who first taught me this song, LMD. Joyful memories and one way she continues to invest in the lives of children. Cancer may have called her home too soon but her memory, love to teach, and engage students continues to the next generation.
In her memory, I give you..."Tony Chestnut", and yes, I do the motions and love it. This is a great song to give the students a much needed brain break, help them transition between activities, or just to relax them after a test. I dare you...get up and find out what toe, knee, nose...LOL
