April is coming to a close and I’m here to report on what I accomplished for Camp NaNo!
As a refresher, at the beginning of the month, I set out to write 50K words.
Boom! Done! Yep, I wrote a grand total of 50,154 words spread out over 5 different projects. Might I just say tracking multiple word counts over multiple projects is not as fun as it sounds. BUT I DID IT. Apple’s hard core, yo!
What’s the breakdown, you ask? I CAN ANSWER THAT!
I finished books 7 and 8 of the Monstrous Tales series and started on book 9.
I wrote roughly half of book 3 in the Zombie Apocalypse Love Story.
I started the first book in a series I’ve been toying with. I’m not going to say much about that yet because it’s still percolating. BUT if you’d like a sneak peak at what I’m planning, check out my inspiration board on Pinterest.
Ari’s story ending up taking an intriguing turn as it progressed. Yes, there’s a teeny, tiny bit more than just girl-on-monster sex in those books. Book 7 will be hitting Amazon soon (within the next week if everything goes as planned) and I’m excited to reach the *ahem* climactic ending with her and her monsters.
So, what’s up for May? MORE WRITING! And editing!
With that, I’m back to the writing cave!
