Wow, that was a bit of an over-reaction... When I read that last ask, I saw it as a joke. I can't be the only one who thought a comment critiquing the art of a book called "Art Criticism" was funny.
Wow if (and it’s a big if in my mind) that was a critique it was the laziest one I’ve ever received.
See I think "TBH on the cover, Turkish’s eye and smile seem kinda off…" is far more “fault-finding and attacking” than “analysis or evaluation” and confusing definition one with definition two is not that funny to art nerds. Like seriously, we’ve heard it and it’s boring.
I think it’s just super rude to swing by and drop a little turd in someone’s inbox and if it wasn’t an attempt to shit on my happiness I’m not sure what the point was. Also you trying to shame me for calling them out is kinda creepy. Honestly I just laughed, but what about the next poor person they pick out? As a community we should just shut up and act like it’s ok to be a dick to someone? I should be more afraid of being seen as thin-skinned and not speak my mind about bullying when I see it?
