I like Mondays, anyone with me?

Happy Monday! This day seems to always come much quicker than we like, however, I think I was ready to see it today. As a stay-at-home-mom/author, Monday's are usually a day I look forward to. Everyone returns to work or school, and I get to have my quiet house back. I can sit and write, edit, clean, do laundry, etc.

We had a fun weekend. Between a birthday party, a visit from my mother-in-law (who I get along with--shocking!), and just hanging around with the family, I was ready for today. Okay, I'll be honest, I was feeling awfully cranky. My daughter was wound up and hyper yesterday, that I even thought, I can't wait until I drop her off at school tomorrow. Come on, like you other mom's haven't had these thoughts. lol.  Monday's are my day. Sometimes they are super productive after being away from writing all weekend, and sometimes they are super lazy. So far today, it's a toss up. I can't believe it's almost 11AM here, and all I've done is workout, shower, and do some edits. I guess that's kinda productive, but I'd hoped to get more writing in. It will come...I'm sure.
