Have you seen the #ruinandrising tag recently? It's gotten a little crazy.

I have indeed! You guys know I’m here on tumblr and that I poke my head into the tags quite a bit. Aaaaand I’ve been getting a lot of asks about it, some friendly, some um… not so friendly.

I promise to do some investigating, but please understand, I have no control over this. I didn’t set up the site and I don’t know how many tweets or posts or whatall it will take to unlock the next snippet.

(My theory is that the first two unlockable thingies were released quickly because of all the tag traffic that resulted from people trying the quiz when it first launched. But that’s a guess and it could be that the bar gets higher with each scene.)

I will say that I don’t think the people from Macmillan are trying to torture you or that they don’t care how you feel. I think they’re people who put a lot of time and effort into selling books and building excitement for them and who don’t get a lot of credit for it. So I’ll do my best to get some answers for you, but please, please cut them (and me) a little slack?
