Whew

We've had quite a week at the Jean Cocteau Cinema.

On Monday, we had Junot Diaz visiting.  On Tuesday, a fundraising event for Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham.  On Thursday, Anne Perry.  And Friday and Saturday, magician David Kwong performing three shows, and introducing and answering questions about NOW YOU SEE ME.

All this PLUS the usual movies.  Oh, and great drinks at the bar.  The Mystic Kwong was a sight to behold.

It was all very exciting, and enormous fun, but I'm wiped.  (Even though my staff and my minions did all the real work).

This week... well, we have some more showings of ALAN PARTRIDGE and NOW YOU SEE ME, and on Wednesday the special screening of BIG SIGNIFICANT THINGS, with Harry Lloyd (see post below).  Come Thursday, the SANTA FE FILM FESTIVAL takes over our hall for the weekend.  Check out their offerings here:
