Version 19 is no more. All hail Version 20!
That’s Version 20 of Doctor Who: Legacy, which after being upgraded now offers those with twitchy thumbs new stages from Series 5 and brand new characters including: the First, Second & Ninth Doctors, the War Doctor and their allies!
What’s more two new features have also been added.
One is the Perk System, which rewards players when you match any colour in a shape of a cross, full horizontal line or a T-shape. Also added is an Expert Mode, which features black and white versions of existing characters that have appeared through a rip in space and time to offer fiendishly challenging levels.
For fans of the Eighth Doctor, meanwhile, you can unlock him as a playable character with his Night and 1996 costumes using this code until 8pm PST this Friday (4am BST on Saturday for those in the UK).
Executive Producer Susan Cummings said:
“The thriving Doctor Who: Legacy fan community reenergises us daily with their enthusiasm, support, and creative ideas.”
Creative Director Lee Cummings added:
“The Version 2.0 release of the game was hugely influenced by feedback we have received from our fans – characters, UI enhancement, achievements, abilities – this game is, more than ever, driven by and made for Doctor Who fans.
This update is truly ‘game changing’ in the best ways, especially with the addition of the new Perk System and the challenging Expert Mode!”
Launched to mark the show’s 50th anniversary celebrations, Doctor Who: Legacy is a free-to-play puzzle adventure from the BBC, Tiny Rebel Games and Seed Studio.
Doctor Who: Legacy is available to download on iOS and Android devices.
We’ll be taking a look at Doctor Who: Legacy in the upcoming Kasterborous Magazine #2.
