#EpicFail: NYPD Twitter Campaign Goes Horribly Wrong

The New York Police Department is the latest organization to learn not to mess with the internet. In an attempt to engage with the city's residents, the department asked Twitter users to share positive stories and pictures of their interactions with police officers using the hashtag #myNYPD. Twitter users had other intentions, however, and the social media service was quickly flooded with photos of police brutality accompanied by the hashtag. RT's Ameera David takes a look at some of the more popular tweets.
