Editing

I've been editing a book that belongs to a friend of mine. It has made me appreciate my editor a little more. It takes time to sit through a manuscript and make notes to a manuscript. Ghost writing would be easier, however I don't like to do that. So writers, respect your editors, they work hard to make your work great.

Also, to readers. Have patience with your favorite writers. It may take a day or more to read a book but it takes months to write a book, edit, and polish it up for you. Just keep encouraging them (not badgering them)and let them know just how much you love their work. It's always nice to hear.
