The 13th Book
I've completed the second draft of my fourth book in the Falco series: The 13th Book.
The prologue takes place in Orizaba, Mexico in 1834 and concerns the Florentine Codex, an actual work that was lost for 199 years before being rediscovered.
Most of the action takes place in contemporary Mexico with warring cartels, corrupt police, corrupt military, heroic military and vigilantes battling it out until Falco and his crew arrive on the scene to tip the scales and rescue one of their own.
I'm now employing a retired professional TV writer to edit my books, which will greatly smooth the entire process.
Her daughter just edited my first book which will soon be available as a paperback on Amazon as soon as I approve it on Create Space.
In the meantime I've started the fifth book in the series inspired by my recent visit to New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The prologue begins in 1806 and involves pirates. Needless to say, there will be many shocking crimes against humanity that must be addressed. Falco is the one who is most qualified to mete out justice against the damned.

Editing progress
This book was interesting in that I reviewed and corrected the previous day's writing before starting on the next. I caught a lot of errors and made a lot of changes that way.
It still amazes me how ma This book was interesting in that I reviewed and corrected the previous day's writing before starting on the next. I caught a lot of errors and made a lot of changes that way.
It still amazes me how many changes beg to be made in essentially the third pass through the book.
After I make the changes I'm working on I suppose I'll have to print out another copy and read it again before uploading the novel for consumption. Arduous process indeed! ...more
