Metafiction

Every time I start to think about writing my next book, my mind shifts from thinking about what I should write to thinking about blogging about my thoughts, as if the process is more important than the product. This is not good. Social networking has molded us into a society that shares every thought and fart. I have more to say on the topic, but right now I need to go tell my Facebook friends that I'll be tweeting a link to this blog post.
