My intentions were not to hurt you.
All I wanted to do was move on,
and move away from the thought
that you and I ever had a surviving
chance. Because you know
as well as I do that we were not
supposed to make it through
those trying times. That you were
not the one that I was meant to
come home to at night. And I
know that it hurts, but as time
starts to move on, so will you.
