Monday, Colbert, and tabs galore

This is what I wrote yesterday, but didn't post. (I went to sleep instead.)

I'm on the plane home from New York right now, with Maddy. (Mike flew back to San Francisco at the crack of dawn this morning.)

The New York stop on the way home was to appear on The Colbert Report - they had asked me to a couple of weeks ago, and we'd set this date. I came close to cancelling last week, but thought it was the kind of thing that my dad would have liked me to do -- and, perhaps more importantl

Pumpkin Excellent job on Colbert. What an marvelous show that I think would be very difficult to be interviewed on by Colbert's persona-masked persona. I didn't notice what Gaiman wore, but felt I got a tantalizing glimpse into the way his mind works. Definitely on my 8 people I'll never meet but I'd want to invite to a dinner party. Just started 'Fragile Things' and it hasn't disappointed. 'Neverwhere' will always be my favorite.' Considering reading the book in which 'all the killing happens before the book starts' to my 7th/8th graders.
